* Welcome God every morning by reading the Living Faith devotional before work (~1 min). Order at http://www.livingfaith.com/.
I will put my spirit in you that you may live... Ezekiel 37:14
Living Faith snippets: "Our relationship with God frequently needs revitalization, much as the dry bones in Ezekiel's valley needed to be enlivened. During Lent, we can address any spiritual fatigue we have by asking: "What in my spirit needs to return to life?" What part might need a new spirit, some flesh oomph, in order to engage more fully with our journey of spiritual growth?" by Sr. Joyce Rupp, O.S.M.
Rich's comments: The spiritual journey of Lent was once described to me as a spiral. The season of Lent is cyclical in nature in that it repeats itself annually like the seasons. However, instead of being like a circle in which the ends overlap, the spiral moves deeper and closer to the center. This is much like our spiritual growth in God that grows deeper as we move closer to Him. Lord, may this Lenten season bring about new spiritual growth in me so that I may grow closer to You. Amen.
Through Christ for Life,
Rich
