Rich's comments: St. Francis of Assisi once said, "Preach the Gospel. And if necessary, use words." Today's devotion made me think of the life of Mother Theresa and how she dedicated over 40 years ministering to the poor, sick, orphaned, and dying. She was admired by many, Christians and non-Christians, as the highest example of service to humanity. The Bible says, “If someone who has worldly means sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in him? Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth.” 1 John 3:17,18 Let us go forth in peace, to love and serve the Lord. Thanks be to God.
