Pat's Reflections: We can see the finish line of these 40 days! Has your Lenten journey brought you closer to God? How have you changed? This most Holy Week offers us the opportunity to finish strong with the Holy Thursday and Good Friday services. Oftentimes the closer we get to the finish line, the more temptation we have to pull up short and say good enough. In that moment of temptation, remember the crucified Lord finishing the salvation race for us..."It is finished" (John 19:28-30). Remember God the Father looking down on His only begotten Son. The LIFE Runners jersey states "REMEMBER The Unborn"...which brings us to the foot of the Cross. The jersey is based on seeing REMEMBER printed on the sidewalk at the Boston Holocaust Museum...which brings us to the foot of the Cross. Holy Thursday service reminds us that Christ loves us enough to wash our feet and give us our daily bread..."do this in remembrance of Me" (Luke 22:19). Good Friday service reminds us that Christ loves us so much that He gave His last breath for the forgiveness of our sins that we may bask in God's glory for eternity (John 3:16). "Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom" (Luke 23:42). Finish strong with the Holy Thursday and Good Friday services...and enjoy the Easter Victory lap and Resurrection Dance!
Faith Challenge: Reflect on how you have grown closer to God in your Lenten journey from ashes to Easter. Hold on to those practices that have helped you see Christ walking beside you.

* Pray/Fast: Prayer connects us with God’s will & His miracles, changing us & helping others. Fast from things that take your eyes off Jesus. Those who pray together stay together, and close to God!
* Save Unborn (& family): Abortion reality (images)…#1 death cause (23% pregnancies). Prov 24:11 & Jer 1:5. “A great poverty that a child must die that you might live as you wish.” Mother Teresa.
* Evangelize: Make room for unbelievers & re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
