Jason's Reflections: Regarding "Quality of Life", I have found a wide range of definitions with those considering abortion and in dealing with the health issues of our 11 yr old son, JP. We have heard the phrase “Quality of Life” thrown around a lot recently. The problem is that often times the worldly view of a quality life is far removed from what we as Christians believe truly gives meaning and blessings to our life. We have been asked by our health care team to consider a "Do Not Resuscitate" order, or to be less “aggressive” with JP's treatment. Although JP has struggled and felt very sick throughout most of the last three years, we have made incredible memories as a family. A year ago we did a Make-a-Wish trip to Disney World. Last fall we shared an incredible couple of days of fishing. At Thanksgiving, JP made his First Communion. Last week JP was able to get to the local zoo for a day with his friends and interact with some of the animals. When JP received a Bible for Easter, it stayed in the hospital bed with him. To others JP’s life appears to be a struggle. For our family, his life forces us to count our blessings no matter how small and to realize that Jesus is with us always.

* Evangelize:Make room for unbelievers & re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
