Rich's Reflections: We should all be very grateful that Mary, the virgin mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, was humble and obedient to the Lord. She trusted Him and said "yes" to a pregnancy without a natural father. She said "yes" to persecution and rejection, knowing that an unwed mother with an illegitimate child in her time was completely unacceptable, unlike today's culture. Mary is our model of faith (FAITH=Forsake All, I Trust Him), for she displayed the kind of faith and commitment that God looks for in all of His children. Mary submitted to the will of God, allowing Him to use her in His plan to bring Jesus into the world so that we may all come to know Him and be saved. Lord, may we all have the courage to imitate the faith of Mary and say yes to You Lord, especially those mothers who are considering an abortion. Amen.

Faith Challenge: Try to imitate the faith of Mary by forsaking all (materialism, individualism, hedonism, etc.) and trusting in Him (FAITH=Forsake All, I Trust Him).
