Nellie's Reflections: At this year’s annual March for Life in DC, a memorial to the billion Unborn babies lost by abortion worldwide, I was in awe as I looked at all the faces of my fellow marchers…each one a unique, unrepeatable expression of our Creator. I cannot help but relate the creation of the world to our own creation – beginning as “formless” matter. When I think of the incredible speed of development of the human person...from the newly fertilized egg invisible to the human eye, to just 7 weeks later the precious blood traveling through the intricate network of vessels...it almost seems that God's creation of a human person was an even more daunting task than creating water, land and air. I believe the God of all creation wants us to know, by the way we function, that we are his masterpiece and crowning glory of all creation! We can be inspired by majestic mountains, rainbows and oceans, but all we have to do is look at one another to see the Face of God. The “Divine Wind” breathed life into every man, woman and child on the face of the Earth, which He so ‘care-fully’ created. Wow...to be “made in His image and likeness”! Let's renew our prayers, penances and even political efforts to protect those whom He has lovingly made.

Faith Challenge: Tell an abortionist, staff, or anyone espousing the killing of the Unborn, that you care about him or her too. They are wounded souls who need the Love and LIFE of Christ.
