“Moses did exactly as the Lord had commanded him.” Exodus 40:16 (full readings)
Leslie's Reflections: Are we doing everything just as the Lord commanded? How do we know? If we truly desire to do the Lord's work within our ministry, then we must know Him well enough that we can recognize His voice and follow His commandments. In our quest to end abortion, it is important that we continuously cultivate our relationship with the Lord by spending time with Him each day...reading the Word, praying and contemplating. The more time we spend with the Lord, the easier it is for us to stay on course, and follow His plan, rather than our own personal agenda. But what if He asks us to do something that is unfamiliar, something we are afraid of, or uncomfortable with? Are you holding back, procrastinating, or avoiding something that you are being called to do? After Moses erected the tabernacle, exactly as he was commanded to do, a cloud settled upon the tabernacle and hovered over it. This cloud was a protection and a guide to the camp of Israel in their march through the wilderness. So when faced with unfamiliar territory or feelings of anxiety or fear, remember that as we pray for God's will in our lives and strive to do exactly as the Lord commands, we too will be protected.

Faith Quote: "We may be doing social work in the eyes of the people. But we are really contemplatives in the heart of the world. For we are touching the body of Christ 24 hours. We have 24 hours in this presence, and so you and I. You too try to bring that presence of God in your family, for the family that prays together stays together." ~ Mother Teresa
