Jason's Reflections:

Are we sending the right message? I think it is important for us to ask ourselves this from time to time. I remember back to high school where I learned the phrase, “you may be the only Bible someone ever reads.” It’s a concept that has always stuck with me. While I know I’m not perfect, I believe it is a concept that helps guide my actions and reactions in many situations. During a recent long run while wearing my LIFE Runners jersey, I thought about the powerful message I carried with me. On the jersey front is Christ's Holy Cross with the Holy Spirit dove, and on the jersey back is "REMEMBER The Unborn Jer 1:5.” In anything we do as Christians, we need to be aware of the message that goes out from us…through all the earth!

Faith Challenge: Be a “Bible” for someone today. Show others the message of Christ…especially for someone who may not make it easy for you.

Feast Day: St. Matthew tells us the Lord commanded, “Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself.” May we pray for the wisdom to follow this command from Jesus.

* Pray/Fast: Prayer connects us with God’s will & His miracles, changing us & helping others. Fast from things that take your eyes off Jesus. Those who pray together stay together, and close to God!
* Save Unborn (& family): Abortion reality (images)…#1 death cause (22% pregnancies). Prov 24:11 & Jer 1:5. “A great poverty that a child must die that you might live as you wish.” Mother Teresa.
* Evangelize: Make room for unbelievers & re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
