Steve's Reflections: Tomorrow at 7:05 AM the National LIFE Runners Team will SURGE into the streets of Kansas City boldly emblazoned with our Pro-Life blue "Remember the Unborn, Jer 1:5" jerseys. The team, comprised of 170 runners from 20 states, will be putting it on the line for LIFE, including Fr. Paul Rutten (SD/article below), Fr. Jonathon St. Andre (PA) and Bishop Paprocki (IL). Looking back on this tidal wave of grace the LIFE Runners has experienced over the past year, God has multiplied our humble team of 17 runners at the 2010 Sioux Falls Marathon...by 10 fold. As Paul so boldly proclaimed, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" (2 Cor. 2:9). With some trepidation we set two God-sized goals for this year 1) Build a MIRACLE team of 100 runners and 2) Raise $25,000 for a crisis pregnancy center. By God's grace we have shattered both of those goals - thanks to the LIFE Group for your prayers and financial support of this action arm of our ministry. As we look forward to the 21 Oct 2012 St. Louis Marathon, God has placed another God sized goal before us - 262 runners and $50,000 raised. May God continue to multiply what we can give and make up for what we lack. May we all "run so as to win" the race that ends the scourge of abortion in our country!

* Pray/Fast: Prayer connects us with God’s will & His miracles, changing us & helping others. Fast from things that take your eyes off Jesus. Those who pray together stay together, and close to God!
* Save Unborn (& family): Abortion reality (images)…#1 death cause (22% pregnancies). Prov 24:11 & Jer 1:5. “A great poverty that a child must die that you might live as you wish.” Mother Teresa.
* Evangelize: Make room for unbelievers & re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
