Wickedness even knows the exact start date and battle locations...and prevails not! At 301 locations from 28 Sep to 6 Nov, Truth was used to set free (John 8:32) over 600 babies and their families. As I reflect back on the 40 Days, I see God's fingerprints all over it, beginning with the Pro-Life Surge! devotion on 28 Sep that encouraged us to take the Pro-Life message into the streets. Many shared the Truth about abortion by wearing the LIFE Runners jersey, "REMEMBER The Unborn, Jer 1:5", during the Kansas City 1.2mile/5K/half/full Marathon (15 Oct)...going through that finish line to the Overland Park (KS) abortion mill (video). Before Bishop Paprocki led us in a Rosary procession, Fr. Jonathan reminded us that the people working in the abortion mill are not our enemies...they are our brothers and sisters who need help finding their way back. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood...but against the spiritual forces of wickedness" Eph 6:12. Two days later the abortion mill security guard called to let us know he quit his job (1 Cor 3:6). At the Columbia (MO) 40 Days for Life banquet on 5 Nov, I spoke about the miracles I have experienced during 40 Days for Life. I opened by praying the LIFE Runners Creed, which was written by Rich Reich after praying at an Orlando abortion mill...exactly one year prior. Coincidence?...I think not!
Faith Challenge: Although 40 Days for Life has reached another finish line, we are still needed at the abortion mills. Consider going to Mass on Thanksgiving to receive the grace of the Eucharist (means "thanksgiving")...giving us strength to pray in front of an abortion mill on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving). Let's keep up the good fight (1 Tim 6:12) against the lies...the abortion wall is going to come crumbling down!
