Pat's Reflections: I recently saw a wisdom-filled short video called "Get Service." The video shows a man getting upset with the shortcomings of others (his enemies for the day) until someone gives him special glasses to see everyone's crosses. This changed his perspective and drew him closer to Jesus' message to love our enemies. The video ended with "Got it?" As our enemies force us to wait (too slow in line, driving under the speed limit, etc), let's use this time to wait upon the Lord, hearing Christ say to us (Matt 5:41), "Should anyone force you into service for one mile, go with them for two miles." Although loving our enemies is unique to Christianity, loving life from conception (illegal abortion) isn't unique to Christianity (World Abortion Law Map). * Our 7 yr old daughter Grace saw today's image as a small Facebook profile picture and said, "what is she holding?" I said, "a baby." She said, "a baby what?" I expanded the picture, and she said, "oh, I see now!" As demonstrated in tomorrow's devotion, many don't really understand that a baby human being is in the womb...until they see the baby with ultrasound.

Faith Challenge: As spiritual service, whenever someone sneezes, say "God bless you!" If someone blesses you, say "God bless you too!" Imagine if we could see the crosses of those walking into the abortion chambers. Let's "Get Service" and bless them by taking time to be LIFE Sidewalkers, especially during the upcoming national 40 Days for Life sidewalk prayer rally (9 Mar to 17 Apr).
