Mt 24:46 (the work of the Master) by Paul Borchard

Welcome God now with this LIFE Group Devotion (FB), provided by LIFE Runners (FB). Guest Authors schedule. LIFE Minute radio.

Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing [the work of the master].” ~ Mt. 24:46 (full readings)

Paul's Reflections: When we live out the Christian life daily, we are not simply avoiding “wailing and grinding of teeth” but the gospel promises blessings to those who are found doing the master's will. While living a life for Christ is not easy and takes our whole being, the Lord gives us the strength and grace to persevere in holiness. The Lord promises blessing to those who work in his vineyard. The Christian life will cost us everything we have, but the rewards will be even greater. Do not be afraid to daily live out the Christian life, to fight for life and to do the work of the Lord.
