Psalm 145:10 (Surrendering to God)

Welcome God now with this LIFE Group Devotion (FB), provided by LIFE Runners (FB). Guest Authors schedule. LIFE Minute radio.

"All your works give you thanks, LORD, and your faithful bless you." ~ Psalm 145:10 (full readings)

Pat's Reflections: Without humility, we are no good to God, our neighbor, or ourselves. With humility and faith our works become God's works, which according to today's verse is a blessing for God. In this true exchange of blessings, we grow closer to Him. The title of the LIFE Group Devotions website (www.lifegroup413.org) states that we are "a mix of over 1,000 Pro-Life Christians, striving to grow closer to the will of God." In humility, let us surrender our will to God, so we can live together In Christ for eternity. While at St. Joseph Radio studio this past week, preparing to share the National LIFE Runners Team on EWTN radio across the nation (1 Cor 3:6-7), Lu Cortese (studio founder) gave me this "Prayer of Surrender to God" (by Thomas Kempis). "Lord, you know what is better for me; let this be done or that be done as You please. Grant what You will, as much as You will, when You will. Do with me as You know best, as will most please You, and will be for Your greater honor. Place me where You will and deal with me freely in all things. I am in Your hand; turn me about whichever way You will. Behold, I am Your servant, ready to obey in all things. Not for myself do I desire to live, but for You - would that I could do this worthily and perfectly."

Faith Challenge: What do you need to surrender to God today? Turn it all over to Him and prepare for a true exchange of blessings!

* Save Unborn (& family): Abortion reality (images)…#1 death cause (22% pregnancies). Prov 24:11 & Jer 1:5. “A great poverty that a child must die that you might live as you wish.” Mother Teresa.
* Evangelize: Make room for unbelievers & re-evangelization of self, by way of prayer (relationship) and following Christ’s example of love (service/sacrifice/mercy). Matt 28:19.
